I hate hot weather. I sweat too easily and I look like I'm constantly near a waterfall during the summer. I like the sun and I like getting a tan (especially since I look like I belong in Twilight right now.) But, seriously, Mother Nature, as much as I like cold weather, it's April. You should be Springing it, not this Wintery-ness mess I still feel outside. I never know what to wear anymore! It's like cold for 2 days, then hot for 2 days, then cold again. Make up your mind! I don't want to look like the only fool in shorts and short sleeves on the street again when it looks like it's 80 degrees outside my window and it's actually below FREEZING. GET IT TOGETHER, M-Natrizzle!

Anyways, so, nothing too new has been happening since my last blog in terms of my career. Just getting myself physically and vocally ready for the things to come. Also, had to go on a Visa leave, so I chose to go to Hong Kong for a night. When I got to my terminal, I bumped into my fellow contestant, Jasper Lee! We didn't plan it, but we ended up taking the same flight back to Hong Kong! What a coincidence!

Look at how cute the damn gate is. I walked by it like 3 times looking for my gate and I took me the 3rd time to realize Gate C3 was Hello Kitty land. Cute eexxpllosiion

So I called up a few friends to join me in my favorite Japanese buffet restaurant in Mong Kok. It was AMAZING. I seriously ate SO much I threw up at night. I thought I got stomach food poisoning, but after I threw up, I was perfectly fine and ate even more the next day, so I knew I threw up cuz I over ate. How sad is that?

Well anyways, speaking of vomit, the ONLY fail at the restaurant was their dessert. This was SUPPOSED to be Tofu pudding, but it came out looking like Tofu Fail.

Met up with my Uber-cute Super Star Avenue Season 5 Contestant, Mellissa. She is adorable and it was nice to see her again :)

Yandy also came! I love Yandy, if you read my blogs in the past, she's the photographer that shot me before! It was nice to see her as well. Cute

I stayed overnight at Vinci's place, my friend back from Tech who's moved back to Hong Kong. On my way out the next morning, I saw this magnet on his fridge and it made me miss home back in ol' Virginia :( Miss you guys back home! Hope I can visit sometime soon :)

I had to run like 10 million errands before my flight at 6:55PM. So I headed to Causeway Bay to rent CDs, buy clothes, buy a knife for my mom's restaurant, get a special limited edition Adidas cape-jacket for my friend in Taiwan, and to spend a 200 gift certificate at SOGO. Surprisingly, I got everything done! Also walked by this amazing picture advertising the children's choir, which apparently has really ugly children held at gun point and forced to sing.

Never too busy for lunch. Quick stop at a Canto-BBQ restaurant for Honey BBQ Pork and Roasted Duck. AMAZE BALLS USA!

So, back in high school gym class, I was reaching for a ball while playing basketball and accidentally slammed into a "bigger-set" girl who wasn't looking where she was going. When we collided, she hardly budged, but I collapsed to the floor and heard my ankle crack 3 times. I just remember she looked unphased and I was lying crippled on the floor. I don't think she realizes I'm injured even to this day... hahaha

Well, yeah, I've had weak ankles since then. When the weather gets cold and rainy, my injury comes back and plus the vast amounts of dancing and working out, my ankles are in bad shape. But, I went to the doctors yesterday and because he's a fan of the show, he offered to treat me for free! That was really nice of him, but then he mentioned he was going to do acupuncture and I was like "oohh helllz no"

But, hey, gotta try things at least once...

It actually wasn't that bad! It was a weird feeling when he pops the needle into your muscle. You almost can't contract your muscles during the process or the needle will break.... No pressure. hahah My ankle did feel a lot better afterwards, so acupuncture really works!

Thought this was funny too. Here you have two sides of a monkey attraction. On each island is two species of monkeys. They can see each other, but they are separated by a water moat and an electric fence. The zoo obviously really wants to keep these guys separate. It reminded me of South Korea and North Korea. I wonder if they ever get into dung throwing wars.

All my life, I never knew these food items were considered "desserts"...

Giraffes are my FAVORITE animal!!!! I love them so much! look at this cute family of giraffes! It's like the 2 children, the mom and the dad, and the perverted uncle who won't stop sticking his head in places he shouldn't be...

I ain't scurred! Hippo vs. Hip Poor Asian (actually just got some English tutoring jobs, so I have money!!!) Anyways, I love how the kid is climbing on the hippo. He's got my back

Monkey see, monkey do

Got a call Saturday afternoon from my mom and she told me my cousin was in the Rong Zong Veteran's hospital because he had an eye injury. He lost his sight in his right eye completely, and had to have surgery that day to mend the skin of his eye lids so he wouldn't have future complications. I hope everything turns out fine. I went to go visit him and it was nice to see family again, although I wish it wasn't under such sad circumstances. ga Loka, Xiao Ling!

My friends from Kaoshiung booked a room at the W hotel a few months ago. Because the W hotel in Taipei is new, they were having promotion sales and my friends got the room for a cheap price and we decided to have a little get-together party. The W hotel is really well-furnished with some great interior design. I like the trendy-but-not-over-the-top feel of the place. Also on the 10th floor is the WooBar which is really nice, and a good place to go for a not-so-pricey drink with friends in a cool atmosphere.
